Well I didn't wanna do it! I REALLY didn't. So for truth in advertising -- ya got the untouched (kinda) version of my house. It's NOT perfect not by a strech - BUT you can see the floor and the sink is shiny.

Our playroom - DH built those shelves so I can put the toys in buckets and away from little fingers - unfortunately the little fingers are taller now and know how to use chairs!

The living room - we have to paint over the yellow walls - and we'll eventually take up the carpet - but the kids are still in the spilling stage.

Little man at the computer - above him is my shelf of official curriculum

Our kitchen. Our dining room is just off this - but it looks like a BOMB went off in there! ;-)

I love that it's obvious you have kids. My first husband insisted that all "evidence" of children be removed before he got home from work. I like the lived-in look, and loved every last bit of "evidence."

But it looks like home and one where you can relax and be yourselves.

Beautiful home and I love that one can see that people live here...That is what you should do in a home! And it doesn't look messed up at all, to me!

Yours would be about the 3rd or 4th time on the Home Tours that I've seen those doors with the semi-circular window at the top. It seems to be a popular in your part of the world. SO pretty! Thanks for sharing your house with us.

Love your kitchen - lots of good cabinet space and like the green countertops. Bright and cheerful playroom - the best kind.

Your home is warm and welcoming. Kid-friendly is DEFINITELY a plus in our book!

Thanks for visiting my blog on the Home Tour. I had so much fun looking at everyone's home and I have so many more to visit, too! I love the shelves that you have in the play room just scattered here and there making use of all the space that you can! What a great idea!

Thanks for coming by to see me! My parents bought the table for the playroom so I'm not sure where it came from.
So glad I stopped in. Your home is great and I love all of your pictures!

HA! We do have the same sofa, but my bum is usually the only one that sits on it most of the time. I got it at a place in Delaware.
Your home looks lived in and loved, like mine!

Kids in the spilling stage? I think T and I realized all to quickly you don't buy anything of value when the are young!!!

Thanks for the "real" tour!!

Oh my goodness. I saw your son sitting at the computer and my heart gave a jolt. He looks exactly like my son sitting at the computer. I am sure it is a combination of the way they both sit, the size, and hair cut but!

I love the house. If I had more containers and kept more stuff it is just what mine would look like. (The Lord keep sprompting me to get rid of things, which is good because people keep giving us more stuff!)
