I am an avid gardener on hiatus, a busy seamstress to the littles, and a sometime reader and baker of tasty treats.
I am constantly trying to grow closer to my Father and Lord, and sometimes I actually accomplish it!

Jan - the advantage of raised beds is twofold - your soil warms up a little faster - and if you have really crappy clay soil like I do - you can get good gareden soil and build up instead of trying to amend (fix) concrete and rocks. ;-)

The pics look awesome!!!! Love the flower garden, love the vegiie garden and LOVE LOVE LOVE the seating area with all the herbs!!! So cool!!!!
